A great action-packed day was had by Paul and Luke last week at the annual SPAB / STBA conference, at the Hospitium in York, a splendid venue within the grounds of the ruined St Mary’s Abbey and York Museum Gardens.
A fantastic range of talks and projects, of particular interest were designs show casing design excellence and innovation within heritage settings, including Tonkin Liu Architect’s – York Minster Centre of Excellence and Jo Lugg from the National Trust, speaking on Castlefield Viaduct regeneration.
